What about my giving statement?

This will remain unchanged. We will combine your giving records from both the old and new giving platforms, and you will receive a consolidated giving statement in January.

Is the new platform secure?

Yes! Throughout the giving process your personal information is kept highly secure. Payment information is TLS encrypted and stored at Stripe - a Level 1 PCI compliant payment processor. Bank verification is powered by Plaid, also utilizing best-in-class encryption. Gospel Fellowship does not have access to your personal banking information at any point during the transaction.

What is ACH?

ACH donations, also called eChecks, are direct bank-to-bank transfers. Because they remove the “middle man” (credit card company), ACH fees are significantly lower than donating via credit or debit card. If you are a regular giver, you could potentially save GF hundreds of dollars in fees just by choosing to donate via ACH!

How do I switch my recurring (automatic) giving?

First, turn off your recurring gift in the old platform (click on the Recurring tab at the top after logging in).

Then, simply log into the new platform (we already have a profile set up for you; just use your phone # or email to log in). Enter your gift amount, and under the Frequency field, select Regularly. Set up your payment method, and you’re done!

Why are there fees?

Fees are collected by our payment processor, Stripe - this is the cost of using their service. Our previous system also collected fees, they just weren’t visible to givers. GF has historically absorbed 100% of these fees.

Some of the benefits to the new platform are…

A lower fee percentage. Less money for fees = more for mission!
Greater transparency. Fees are now displayed each time you donate, so you can see exactly how much of your gift GF will receive.
You as the giver have the option to help cover the processing fee, if you choose.
